How to change the mind from confusion to clarity

Here is one way of positive thinking and living calmly and efficiently.

Change the quality of your mind…question what it tells you…

When someone tells us, “you are no good”, or something negative about us, we don’t accept their statement right away. We question their comment. We ask them, “what are you talking about? We tell them, “I know for sure what you are saying is not true, so take a hike!”

But when our own mind tells us, “you are no good”, or something negative about us, we take it seriously. We accept that without any question. We become dejected or depressed. We wallow in self pity.

This is the main and most important problem in our lives. We think that every thought that occurs in our mind is true and real. But that is not so.

The truth is, the mind tells us things based on our preconceived notions, based on what we have believed about us and the world so far. Your thoughts occur because of your preconceived notions and inherent tendencies.

So, it is up to us now to understand this. It is up to us to question the mind every time it says something that makes us feel negative or unhappy.

Such questioning, done as often as possible, will actually change our preconceived notions, our inherent tendencies. It will change the quality of the mind from bleakness, dullness, confusion and misery, to brightness, clarity, focus and happiness. And it will change your inherent tendencies too at the same time. Because of this, in the future, your thoughts will be positive and your perspective of the world will be bright and beautiful.

So, be smart, question you mind. Question everything it tells you. Question every thought before accepting it or rejecting it. Question its validity. Accept the ones that makes sense to you, that will bring clarity, happiness and peace of mind in your life, and those around you. Reject the ones that don’t make sense, that will bring you confusion, unhappiness and restlessness in your mind.

This is one way of positive thinking and living calmly and efficiently.
